Guillaume Flavigny
Guillaume Flavigny
When he was young and living in his native France, Guillaume often wondered why schools did not teach children about the “alphabet” of fragrance, given the country’s rich perfume heritage. He decided to cultivate his own and over the past two decades has mastered the art of perfumery.
His sensitivity to scents goes hand in hand with an appreciation for art and music and the ability to find beauty in a variety of contexts: the smoky taste of whiskey, the rich color of Japanese ink or the melodic angularities of jazz.
As a professional perfumer and jazz pianist, he synthesizes his diverse inspirations in art, music and beyond into a style that is both passionate and truly original.
